Post #2- What about Maps and How to Arrive Maps?

TO MAKE A START.....

Thanks to a  City Council new policy, Buenos Aires was dramatically changed from five years ago to present. I think, from tourists'point of view...it's getting better!

-You have free bikes to use with a Bike Circuit in the City
(take a look to : http://lavidaenbici.com/buenosaires/). You only need to take your ID or Passport with you....

(From La Vida En Bici, Facebook Argentina)

_Subway in Buenos Aires, has provided new Ads for example in Peru (LINE D station) with best sights in the City. And clear maps to arrive anywhere.

Security advice: some robbers have used Metrobus stop. It is recommended to take a look at my security advices . Try to avoid rush hours. I will be improving and completing all kinds of advices for helping tourists to enjoy a nice time in our beautiful city!

WHAT ABOUT TRAINS IN BA?

Trains network in Buenos Aires was designed for an overeseas purpose, during the late 1800's.
Wheat and cattle were sent in wagons to Buenos Aires Port and then put into ships.

For this reason, all  train lines converge in the Port City, Buenos Aires, but they  are not related among them.

Anyway, you can make a mix between trains, bus lines or Metro lines and travel very easily. It is very useful to carry a map which may have all these services together or to have each one of them.

TRAIN SERVICES RELIABILITY

I strongly suggest you do not use SARMIENTO LINE, until Government improves its service!

The other lines, specially MITRE (from Retiro), used for touristic places such as Tigre, are more reliable and comfortable.
